Another Russia. Memorial: The fight for historical truth and democracy

Part of the Weimar Kunstfest 2024, the exhibition highlights Memorial’s history and engagement for a democratic Russia based on historical truth, but also the state actions under Putin that have sought to suppress its work with legal and official measures, and campaigns of defamation, intimidation, criminalization and open repression.

The exhibition will open at 15:00 on August 21, followed by a conversation with Irina Shcherbakova (Zukunft Memorial) and Ulrike Poppe at 16:15.

The exhibition will be open until January 6 at Rathenauplatz 6, Weimar, Germany.
