A previously unknown text from Varlam Shalamov's notebook was published in the new literary biography, "Das Leben schreiben" by Franziska Thun-Hohenstein. We have published this text, which talks about finding what to accent, how not to write and live in just two dimensions, but rather in search of volume, fullness and complexity, in honor of Shalamov's birthday, in Russian, as it has not yet been translated into English.
