In 2024, Returning the Names was held in 45 countries and 141 cities. This year, we want the action to reach even further. More cities. More voices. More names spoken aloud — so that the victims of Soviet terror are remembered, and never erased again.

Our duty is clear: to keep Returning the Names an act of memory, not a bitter reflection of today’s repression — and to work toward a future without political prisoners or persecution.
